If we know anything about Peter Farrelly (Dumb & Dumber, There’s Something About Mary) it’s that he sees the humor in uncomfortable situations. This talent is on full display in Loudermilk, a series Farrelly created with Bobby Mort (The Colbert Report).
Sam Loudermilk (Ron Livingston) is a substance abuse counselor with an insider’s perspective, because he’s also a recovering alcoholic. He pisses off everyone in his life with his unapologetically uncensored bad attitude, pushing the limits of brutal honesty.
In Season 2, we see him picking up the pieces of his support group, as he attempts to get the old gang back together, including Ben (Will Sasso) who married Sam’s ex-wife. Loudermilk discovers that being a good person is hard, especially when he’s trying to do it sober, but he’s learning to let things go and forgive.
Loudermilk, an AT&T original, is back on the wagon for its second season coming to you on AUDIENCE starting October 16th at 10/9c.
