Musician and composer Stewart Copeland has spent much of his life in front of the camera, but he’s no stranger to the creativity also needed behind the camera. Using material he shot himself with a Super-8 camera he bought in 1978, he captured the chaos of tour, and the antics of his fellow musicians in Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out. July 16th marks the drummer’s birthday, and the start of HDNET Movies’ Classic Rock Week with Steward Copeland, where the musician will act as host for a week long dive into rock docs! From the 16th through July 22nd, Copeland will guide you through some of his favorites like No Direction Home: Bob Dylan, while sharing personal anecdotes from his days on the road. Get a taste of what’s to come in the interview below, and be sure to tune in all week to HDNet for a week of riffs and buzz rolls!
