The scene in Atlanta is the focus of this season’s Growing Up Hip Hop. Although the show is in a different city with a new cast, GUHH is still bringing the same suspense, drama, and excitement that you love.

So far we’ve watched Bow Wow make his triumphant return to Atlanta, and take steps towards finally releasing new music after a 6-year break from the studio. As an added bonus we got a sneak peek at his creative process, and learned more about the man behind the Bow Wow stage name—Shad Moss.

Bow Wow shares the spotlight with Shaniah Mauldin (daughter of Jermaine Dupri), Reginae Carter (daughter of Lil Wayne and Toya Wright), Zonnique Pullins (stepdaughter of T.I.), Brandon Barnes (brother of Waka Flocka Flame), and Brandon’s cousin Ayana Fite (daughter of The Beastie Boys’ favorite disc jockey, DJ Hurricane). These emerging artists all come from famous roots and could be taking it easy, but based on what we’ve seen this season they’re taking things to the next level.

Tune in to the season finale to see the results of Bow Wow’s hard work, and to find out if his fellow GUHH cast mates were able to elevate the game.

Don’t miss the season finale of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta, Thursday July 13th at 9/8c on WE tv (Ch. 260).
