TV’s best genre-bending crime dramas are coming to WGN America (Ch. 307) this fall. Person of Interest and Elementary, part of WGN America’s new Prime Crime time slot, will be making their pay-tv debuts, giving fans a chance to watch both series from their pilots through to their most recent seasons.

Elementary is a modern-day reboot of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes, with Jonny Lee Miller playing the brilliant—yet troubled—detective. Departing from the usual Sherlock formula, Elementary introduces a female Dr. Watson, played by Lucy Lui, who helps Sherlock keep it together as he solves mysteries and battles his inner demons.

For another fresh take on the crime drama genre, there’s Person of Interest. Jim Caviezel stars as John Reese, a former CIA operative who teams up with billionaire Harold Finch, played by Michael Emerson. Finch, with the aid of Reese’s agent training, uses the power of a mass surveillance algorithm to further his own brand of geek-powered vigilante justice.

Don’t miss the Prime Crime pairing of Elementary and Person of Interest, every weeknight starting August 31, on WGN America (Ch. 307).
