Check out these exclusive photos from the set of the fifth and final season of Damages—brought to you courtesy of Josh Payne, our Damages insider.

In the upcoming season, Ellen digs deeper into her past. The flashbacks of her fiancé’s murder intensify as she recalls more haunting details like the bathroom where she found his body, the ominous crow on the windowsill, and the murder weapon—the Statue of Liberty bookend.

Fun fact: There is more than one bookend. The original bookend was plaster, then rubber replicas were made by the scenic artists. The hair around the spikes of Liberty’s headpiece is real human hair from a wig store. And the blood is made using corn syrup and food coloring.
